BackPack Pals of Person County

About

BackPack Pals is a volunteer group that provides weekend foods for at risk students during the school year. The program began in 2012 with 30 students. This past year 315 students from 10 Person County Schools participated, ranging from pre-K to middle school. The BackPack Pals program is anonymous and students are selected by the schools.

BackPack packers are needed.

Packing is done on Tuesday mornings at the building adjacent to the Northern Middle School bus parking lot.
