We currently need volunteers for our upstairs clothes closet. Hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am til 11:45am. Please come by if you are interested!

Volunteers are usually needed from 9 am to 1 pm or any time between. All services for clients are between 9 am and 12 noon. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we distribute food to clients. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer a visit to our clothes closet.

We need volunteers to assist clients in selecting items and to sort/organize clothing donations that we have received.

October through March

​

We need folks to help with the Woodchucks, the Wood Cutting Ministry.  We start around 8 am and continue till around noon.  Weather permitting we cut on Wednesdays and some Saturdays.  Call the Center for specifics.

Client Assistance

​

We occasionally have clients who need a ride to the pharmacy or grocery store. If you could be available to help, let us know.  We also have clients who need rides to UNC or Duke, and occasionally to the shelter in Durham or Burlington.
