OUR AVAILABLE VOLUNTEER HOURS ARE CURRENTLY VERY LIMITED DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR UPDATES.
Volunteers are usually needed from 9 am to 1 pm or any time between. All services for clients are between 9 am and 12 noon. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays we distribute food to clients. On Tuesdays and Thursdays we offer a visit to our clothes closet.
Tuesday and Thursday (9-12)
We need volunteers to assist clients in selecting items and to sort/organize clothing donations that we have received.
October through March
We need folks to help with the Woodchucks, the Wood Cutting Ministry. We start around 8 am and continue till around noon. Weather permitting we cut on Wednesdays and some Saturdays. Call the Center for specifics.
We have clients who need a ride to the pharmacy or grocery store. If you want to make a friend let us know. We also have clients who need rides to UNC or Duke, and occasionally to the shelter in Durham or Burlington.
